We are in search of an energetic individual to work with us as a sandwich artist

But first... what is a Sandwich Artist The Sandwich Artist is the face of our brand. They are responsible for greeting and serving guests, preparing food, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and handling light paperwork. Exceptional customer service is a fundamental of this position.

PREREQUISITES:

Education: Achieving the educational milestones equivalent to finishing high school.

Experience & Skills: Prior experience is not obligatory, but candidates must showcase proficiency in understanding instructions delivered in written and verbal forms.

Physical: Must be able to work any area of the restaurant when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Expresses a genial and supportive attitude when greeting customers and preparing their orders in a timely manner.
• Shows adeptness in understanding the menu items and effectively conveys them correctly to guests.
• Registers the purchase and computes the bill using a Point of Sale system or cash register. Takes payment from customers and returns any change owed.
• Proper execution of the Cash-In Procedure ensures a meticulous account of all monetary transactions handled within the designated time frame.
• Ensures food is prepared methodically, following the defined formula, and served promptly.
• Evaluates the goods in the sandwich unit zone and replenishes them as needed to keep an appropriate stock level throughout the shift.
• Appreciates and adheres to the necessary standards for food handling, safety, and hygiene during food preparation, service, and clean-up.
• Cleans and upkeeps various areas of the restaurant to ensure a well-groomed and sanitary ambiance.
• Evidences understanding and adherence to the quality standards, formulas, and processes as outlined in the SUBWAY Operations Manual.
• Ensures that the professional appearance and grooming criteria outlined in the SUBWAY Operations Manual are consistently met.
• Conducts light clerical tasks as needed.
• Successfully finishes the University of SUBWAY curriculum as required.
