Food Production:
Ensures that Carving and Display Cooking products for the Hot Choice Buffet are made in accordance with Golden Corral's recipes and procedures.
Abides by Golden Corral standards while grilling to meet quality benchmarks.
Ensures that each fried dish is consistently delivered with freshness and heat.
When the Buffet Attendant is unavailable, the Cook is in charge of restocking the items at the Display Cooking Station.
When the Carver is unavailable, they step in to guide guests towards different carved meat selections.
Rigorous execution and adherence to the buffet production system to guarantee quality benchmarks and compliance with shelf life parameters.
Operational Excellence:
Ensures that the temperature of all products is maintained correctly throughout the cooking, holding, and serving processes.
Utilizes the Hot Choice Buffet Production Guide and the Display Cooking Hot Cook Production Guide to monitor and control the availability of all hot cook merchandise.
Performs the initiation and termination of administrative tasks.
Carries out regular maintenance on equipment as per the directives provided in the Equipment Maintenance manual.
Ensures that food items are restocked and rotated following the FIFO protocol.
Reviews product levels and confirms them with the Manager's build-to inventory during shift commencement and closure.
Cleanliness:
Confirms that the Hot Cook area and smallwares are sanitized and inspects dishes for any dirt before utilizing them.
Supervises the duty timetable and ensures that cleanliness, service, and quality levels are maintained.
Abides by the laws enacted by the local health department.
Guarantee product quality and hygiene standards by keeping the char grill clean and regularly scraping off residues.
Guest Service:
Keeps Hot Choice Buffet options, such as Display Cooking selections, consistently heated and fresh for guest consumption.
Recognizes and follows the position obligations in relation to just-in-time delivery.
Maintains a friendly and helpful demeanor when engaging with guests and aiding them in product selection.
Ensures that communication remains professional in every interaction.
