Role and Responsibilities:

In the role of a Billing Clerk your main responsibilities involve engaging with clients, organizing merchandise, and aiding in the smooth functioning of the store on a day-to-day basis. Your focus will be on efficient and precise handling of orders, alongside upholding strict safety and sanitation protocols.

• Safely and efficiently handle all tools and equipment within the store environment.
• Transfer items received from delivery zones to storage locations, workstations, and refrigerated walk-ins.
• Follow the guidelines set by the company to create food items.
• Accurately handle incoming orders via phone and in person.
• Conduct a stock check and finalize any relevant documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and premises each day.
• Adhere to the guidelines for orientation and training procedures.
• Understand and provide accurate written guidelines.
• Ensure effective communication with clients and colleagues to handle order requests efficiently.
• Execute fundamental arithmetic operations, such as calculating monetary exchanges accurately.
• Input orders precisely through a computer system or touch interface.
• Adhere to safety procedures when dealing with heated surfaces, cutting instruments, or machinery in motion.
• Help with the upkeep of a tidy and well-ordered workspace.

Necessary Qualifications and Background:

• The individual must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficiency in transmitting messages clearly and efficiently to both clients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in fundamental arithmetic and the capacity to accurately give back the correct amount of money.
• Precise motor coordination is essential for executing tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• The ability to coordinate the hands and eyes for tasks involving food preparation and the use of tools.
• Being able to function independently or collaboratively in high-pressure situations while adhering to quality assurance criteria.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing is the primary posture for an extended period, while walking is reserved for brief distances and durations.
• Transporting large quantities of goods weighing up to 50 pounds using a manual dolly.
• Transporting goods like big containers, pizza sauce (weighing as much as 30 pounds), and sheets of pizza dough (around 12 pounds each).
• Exerting up to 7.5 lbs of force to move trays on dollies by pushing and pulling.
• Periodically ascending stairs or ladders for upkeep duties.
• Frequently stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching as necessary to complete tasks.
• Repeated utilization of hands during the preparation of food and handling of various kitchen implements like pizza paddles, slicers, and containers.

Work Conditions:

• Workers are exposed to a range of temperatures, from as low as 36°F in refrigerated spaces to over 90°F in other work areas.
• Periodic outdoor labor when disposing of garbage or completing miscellaneous duties.
• Being around food smells, cornmeal particles, heated surfaces, cutting edges, and functioning machinery components.
• Confined workspaces such as walk-in refrigeration units.

Compensation and Benefits:
