Job Summary of Shift Lead Team Member:

This role focuses on leading a team to deliver exceptional service, maintaining operational standards, and creating positive experiences for every guest. This position requires strong leadership, organization, and a commitment to the Dairy Queen brand.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Shift Lead Team Member:

• Act as an ambassador of the Dairy Queen brand and maintain professionalism at all times.
• Greet guests warmly and ensure fan-first service through timely and high-quality service.
• Assist in managing specific areas of the restaurant during scheduled shifts.
• Guide and motivate team members to maintain high performance and resolve workflow challenges.
• Support GM and Assistant Managers with training, coaching, and skill development of crew members.
• Ensure proper staffing, organization, and smooth operation of the restaurant.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment for guests and team members.
• Address guest concerns calmly following Dairy Queen's service recovery standards.
• Model performance standards and support team members in achieving excellence.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience of Shift Lead Team Member:

• Knowledge of safe food handling practices; ServSafe certification is required or certifiable.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Comfortable standing for entire shifts and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Exemplifies good manners, hygiene, punctuality, and professionalism.
• Positive, team-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for leadership.

Salary:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour, based on experience, location, and qualifications.
