Job Summary of Restaurant Crew Member:

At IHOP, your role as a Restaurant Crew Member is to deliver quick, efficient, and courteous service to all customers. This includes greeting and seating guests, taking and serving orders, processing payments, and making sure tables are cleaned and set up for the next guest, all while creating a welcoming and pleasant dining atmosphere.

Responsibilities of Restaurant Crew Member:

• Form and maintain professional and operational working connections with IHOP team members and visitors.
• Comply with the IHOP SOP for service guidelines to provide guests with a premium level of service.
• Address guest concerns professionally, courteously, and promptly, express appreciation for their input, and encourage them to return at another time.
• Familiarize yourself with IHOP's specialized language, shorthand terms, procedures, and insights into plating and menu particulars.
• Follow the standard protocols for handling guest checks and managing server cash flow effectively.
• Handle the stocking and rotation of all required provisions in the service zones and dining area as designated for each shift.
• Comply with the health, sanitation, and safety guidelines established by local regulations and standard operating procedures.
