Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role within a dynamic restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
  • Capability to handle the varied demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and engaging with guests.
  • Must be available and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Minimum age 18 years.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and seat guests, managing waitlists efficiently and accurately.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, providing information about our menu, services, and policies.
  • Handle reservations and walk-in seating, optimizing table turns and guest flow.
  • Assist guests with any special requests or accommodations to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable dining experience.
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and gift cards.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting areas.
  • Adhere strictly to all operational, safety, and sanitation standards, company policies, and federal/state/local regulations.
  • Proactively identify and address any guest concerns or service issues, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with the entire front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations.
  • Provide general support to the dining room staff as needed, contributing to a positive guest environment.
