Job Summary of Cashier:

Dairy Queen is seeking friendly and energetic Cashiers to provide an exceptional guest experience. This role is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for accurately taking orders, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Cashier:

• Greet guests promptly and provide enthusiastic service throughout their visit.
• Explain menu items, current promotions, and suggest additional items to enhance the guest experience.
• Accurately enter orders into the point - of - sale system and handle payments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, counters, bathrooms, and exterior spaces.
• Stock condiments, paper goods, and beverages as needed.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained and report maintenance needs to management.
• Complete and present guest orders accurately and efficiently.
• Follow all standard operating procedures with a focus on safety and service quality.

Qualifications and Experience of Cashier:

• Must be 15 years of age or older.
• Ability to work a minimum of 9 hours per week.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk continuously; occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, climb, lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working with hot and cold temperatures and exposure to food allergens.
• Ability to safely operate restaurant equipment, including fryers and knives.
