Role and Responsibilities:

As a Cash Register Operator at Wingstop, you will be the face of the brand, responsible for handling transactions efficiently and creating a welcoming environment for guests. You'll work closely with the kitchen and service teams to ensure each guest enjoys a seamless and satisfying experience.

• Provide a warm, friendly greeting to all guests in person or over the phone to create a positive first impression.
• Accurately input orders into the POS system to ensure efficiency and order precision.
• Stay informed about menu items, sauces, and promotions to make personalized recommendations.
• Handle a variety of payment methods, including cash, credit, and gift cards, with accuracy and professionalism.
• Review orders for accuracy, presentation, and timely delivery to maintain Wingstop's quality standards.
• Balance and reconcile the cash drawer at the end of each shift, maintaining accurate financial records.
• Keep all front-of-house and customer-facing areas clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Follow Wingstop's food safety, health, and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns courteously, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Represent Wingstop's brand image by maintaining a professional and polished appearance at all times.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience as a cashier or in food service is preferred but not required.
• Valid Food Handler Certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Proficiency in using modern POS systems and processing transactions efficiently.
• Strong understanding of cash-handling procedures and basic math skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests and coworkers.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
