Job Duties and Responsibilities of Restaurant Maintenance Technician:

• Troubleshoot and repair kitchen and facility equipment including refrigeration, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Conduct carpentry and plumbing work to support restaurant operations.
• Install new equipment while ensuring compliance with internal safety protocols.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain a detailed inventory of parts and tools.
• Manage and resolve work orders within established service level agreements.
• Track repair activities, schedules, and budgets, providing updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and inspect their work for quality and adherence to standards.

Qualifications and Experience of Restaurant Maintenance Technician:

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years of field experience in HVAC and commercial refrigeration.
• At least 1 year of experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair or related education.
• 3 or more years of total maintenance or technical experience preferred.
• EPA Certification or CFC Certification required.
• HVAC State Certified License preferred.
• Mechanical Contractor or Journeyman's license preferred (mandatory in certain states).
• CFESA Certification considered a plus.
