Shift Coordinator

Company Overview:

Burger King is seeking an Shift Coordinator to join our restaurant leadership team. The HSC plays a crucial role in driving sales, profitability, guest satisfaction, and team performance during assigned shifts. You will support the Restaurant General Manager and Assistant Manager by managing operations and leading a shift of Team Members, contributing directly to Burger King's mission to deliver excellent service and operational excellence.

Role and Responsibilities:

As an Shift Coordinator, you will lead and motivate Team Members to exceed guest expectations while ensuring efficient and profitable restaurant operations.

• Follow all cash control and security procedures, including safe counting and cash drawer management.
• Maintain inventory through daily and weekly inspections and receive inventory truck orders.
• Motivate and direct Team Members to deliver fast, accurate, and friendly service in a clean environment.
• Provide coaching and feedback to enhance Team Members' capabilities and improve restaurant performance.
• Set an example by actively working to implement shift plans and drive operational results.
• Direct efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products to meet speed of service guidelines.
• Motivate Team Members at each workstation throughout the shift.
• Review restaurant results to identify successes and areas for improvement.
• Ensure the restaurant upholds operational and brand standards.
• Perform Team Member duties when necessary to support the team.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous quick service restaurant experience.
• Demonstrated understanding of guest service principles.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work long or irregular shifts as needed for proper restaurant functioning.
