Job Summary of Cook:

Dairy Queen is responsible for executing all kitchen operations, ensuring food is prepared, cooked, and presented according to restaurant and safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and teamwork to maintain a clean, organized, and high - functioning kitchen environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Cook:

• Operate the grill, fryer, freezer, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Prepare, cook, and assemble food items accurately and quickly while maintaining quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including prep areas, equipment, and storage.
• Stock ingredients and supplies, ensuring proper rotation and availability throughout shifts.
• Communicate clearly and politely with team members to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Follow established food handling procedures and local health regulations.
• Assist in maintaining a positive, cooperative, and professional work environment.
• Perform end - of - day cleanup and other tasks as assigned by management or shift leaders.

Qualifications and Experience of Cook:

• Previous experience in a fast - paced kitchen or restaurant setting preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively with co - workers.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
• Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
