Job Summary of Restaurant Server:

When serving at IHOP, you will be expected to offer timely, proficient, and polite customer care to all visitors. Duties consist of welcoming and arranging seating for guests, recording and delivering menu selections, managing financial transactions, and ensuring tables are swiftly cleared and prepared for the arrival of the next customer, all while fostering a hospitable and delightful dining environment.

Responsibilities of Restaurant Server:

• Foster and sustain valuable operational connections with IHOP team members and patrons.
• Follow the IHOP SOP diligently to deliver a top-notch service experience for all guests.
• Manage guest grievances in a professional, polite, and timely fashion, express appreciation for their input, and encourage their return in the future.
• Grasp the IHOP-specific vocabulary, shortcuts, techniques, and expertise in arranging dishes and understanding the menu.
• Follow the established standard operating procedures related to guest receipts and server financial processes.
• Manage the stocking and rotation of essential materials in the service zones and dining space according to shift responsibilities.
• Ensure full compliance with the health, hygiene, and safety protocols specified by local authorities and standard operating procedures.
