Role and Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Manager, you will oversee store operations during your shift, ensuring team members perform to the highest standards. You will lead by example, maintain operational excellence, and drive customer satisfaction.
Manage all aspects of your shift, including staffing, cost controls, cash handling, inventory, food management, and customer relations.
Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures 100% of the time.
Ensure adherence to schedules, store cleanliness, marketing initiatives, and profitability goals.
Operate all equipment and stock ingredients from deliveries to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers.
Prepare products, receive and process telephone orders, and maintain accurate inventory and paperwork.
Clean equipment and facilities daily.
Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers, both verbally and in writing.
Train and mentor new team members through on-the-job orientation and guidance.
Perform essential functions such as accurate math operations, making correct change, entering orders, and navigating delivery routes.
Deliver product safely within designated areas and assist with marketing and promotional activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Favorable driving record and criminal background check.
Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
Strong motor coordination, eye-hand skills, and physical ability to lift, carry, push, and reach as required.
Ability to navigate stairs, adverse weather conditions, and variable temperatures while performing duties.
Valid driver’s license with safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
Physical Requirements:
Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and reaching as required for operational tasks.
Hand tasks include shaping pizza dough, using pizza peels and cutters, and assembly of boxes.
Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and varying in-store temperatures.
