Job Summary of Chef:

This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced kitchen staff to oversee the grill area and ensure food preparation meets the highest safety and health standards. As part of the team, you will be responsible for cooking, assembling, and wrapping food items, stocking materials, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail, a positive attitude, and a commitment to teamwork, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and a clean work environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Chef:

• Operate the grill area in accordance with established restaurant standards, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare food quickly, accurately, and safely while adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by delivering quality food and service in a timely manner.
• Foster a cooperative and pleasant working environment through positive interactions with all staff and customers.
• Communicate issues, both positive and negative, with management to maintain smooth operations.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
• Complete assigned prep work, stocking, and setup for the grill area.
• Control food production to maintain consistency and quality standards.
• Follow proper food handling procedures and adhere to local health regulations.
• Perform cleaning duties as directed by management, including sanitation of work areas and equipment.

Qualifications and Experience of Chef:

• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Exhibit good manners, proper personal hygiene, a positive attitude, and punctuality.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume restaurant environment.
• Ability to move quickly and respond efficiently to customer needs during peak hours.
• Must be able to work in varying temperature conditions.
• Ability to handle raw, frozen, and cooked food products safely.
• Capability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Effective communication skills to work with co-workers and customers efficiently.
• Ability to read order monitors and accurately communicate orders.
• Must be able to handle fast-paced kitchen tasks while maintaining food safety standards.
