Seeking a Food Counter Server who is amicable, vigilant, and dynamic for a position in our team. Ensure that Clients are provided with an excellent dining experience. Deliver service to Customers with a friendly, accommodating, skilled, and punctual approach, while being mindful of their needs. Follow responsible alcohol serving guidelines as set forth by Golden Corral Dining's policy and as mandated by local and state laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate exceptional understanding of the menu to describe our selections to patrons, update them on ongoing food promotions and specials, and address any inquiries they may have.
• Takes accurate food and beverage orders on guest tickets and promptly inputs them into the POS system before serving, using the right abbreviations and charges.
• Serves food and beverages to guests promptly, involving the process of picking up orders from the kitchen and bringing them to customers within the server's area or any other specific part of the dining establishment.
• Competence in observing guest conduct and pinpointing situations that warrant escalation to a Manager, even if they are in another team member's zone of responsibility.
• Ensure adherence to alcohol awareness procedures for verifying age, preventing intoxication, and managing intoxicated individuals in accordance with company alcohol policies.
• Ensure the accuracy of all monetary transactions and maintain precision when giving back change in coins.
• Follow correct procedures for operating credit card machines.
• Returns the accurate change amount to the guest in a timely manner.
• Ensures table tidiness by clearing dishes promptly, checking drink levels, removing clutter, and providing ample napkins.
• Keeps the station spotless, arranges and dismantles station tables correctly.
• Undertakes shift change and opening or closing tasks as required.
• Complies with all company policies regarding safety and sanitation practices.
• Offers assistance to colleagues when it is deemed necessary or when the business situation requires it.
• Fosters positive interactions with fellow team members within the organization to cultivate a collaborative work environment and boost team spirit.
• Shows a consistently positive image of Golden Corral.
• Keeps work areas tidy and ensures tools, equipment, and supplies are stored correctly.
