Job Summary of Grill Cook:

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Grill Cook:

• Serve as a positive ambassador of the Dairy Queen brand in all interactions.
• Greet and engage guests with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Prepare and assemble food products quickly and accurately while following health, safety, and quality standards.
• Properly operate and maintain restaurant equipment including grills, fryers, freezers, and other cooking tools.
• Complete assigned preparation work, including stocking and setting up grill stations.
• Address guest concerns calmly and follow Dairy Queen's service recovery procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
• Create and maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment for both guests and team members.
• Exhibit a passion for excellence in all tasks and perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications and Experience of Grill Cook:

• Ability to communicate positively with guests and co-workers throughout shifts.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Comfortable standing for the entire shift and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Capable of handling raw, frozen, and cooked food products safely, including items within and outside the temperature danger zone (41140°F).
• Adherence to food handling procedures and local health regulations.
• Good personal hygiene, punctuality, and professional conduct.
• Positive, fun attitude and willingness to learn and contribute as a team player.
