Qualifications

• Prior experience in a customer-facing role within a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive commitment to maintaining a welcoming and organized front-of-house area.
• Capability to manage the physical demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and light lifting.
• Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule, encompassing evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Minimum age 18 years.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and welcome all guests upon their arrival, providing an immediate positive first impression.
• Efficiently manage reservations and walk-in seating, optimizing table turns while minimizing guest wait times.
• Proactively assist guests with any inquiries, provide menu recommendations, and address concerns with a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the host stand, waiting area, and front entrance, ensuring a pristine environment.
• Collaborate seamlessly with the serving and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit card transactions with precision.
• Strictly adhere to all operational, safety, and sanitation standards, company policies, and federal/state/local regulations.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance, such as refilling drinks or clearing plates when appropriate.
• Assist with various administrative tasks as needed, including answering phones and managing takeout orders.
