Typical responsibilities:

• Construct a diverse array of handcrafted mixed drinks, alcohol-free mocktail options, and other specialized beverages with expertise and panache, utilizing top-shelf ingredients, techniques, and garnishes. Continuously generate inventive and appealing drink innovations.
• Offer exceptional customer support through a welcoming reception, engaging in courteous and professional dialogue, and recognizing their preferences. Provide tailored recommendations and guidance that align with their tastes to create a personalized and pleasurable encounter.
• Ensure that beverage orders are handled promptly and accurately, meeting both company guidelines and any special instructions from customers.
• Exhibit a profound understanding of the principles of classic and contemporary mixology, covering an extensive spectrum of spirits, liqueurs, bitters, and supplementary ingredients. Continuously update yourself on emerging trends and pioneering techniques prevalent in the mixology scene.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar section, ensuring that all glassware, tools, and utensils are cleaned and available for use. Adhere to safety and hygiene standards, such as the proper handling and storage of ingredients.
• Successful completion of the training program leads to the acquisition of certification in the service of alcohol in a safe and responsible manner
• Coordinate efforts with other team members, such as servers, kitchen staff, and managers, to ensure operations run smoothly and customers have a seamless experience. Assist during busy periods and provide support in other areas of the business as required.
• Perform precise customer payment processing, responsible cash handling, and secure cash register maintenance, while also keeping detailed records of sales, tips, and inventory to aid in effective management and financial visibility.

Prerequisites and competencies required:

• Competence in handling all aspects of full bar and wine operations
• Knowledge of refined culinary experiences
• Must possess the strength to lift, manipulate, and transport beverage items, supplies, glass racks, smallwares, and equipment up to 50 pounds in weight
• Successful communication and attentive listening are key elements in engaging with managers, coworkers, and clients.
