Role and Responsibilities:

As a Chef, you will play a key role in creating delicious dishes, supporting a seamless kitchen operation, and delivering an exceptional dining experience for every guest.

  • Provide warm and friendly greetings to guests, ensuring a positive and memorable Wingstop experience.
  • Accurately process and manage orders received in person or by phone through the POS system.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, sauces, and seasonal offerings to provide guests with accurate information.
  • Safely prepare bone-in wings, boneless wings, tenders, and fries following Wingstop's cooking standards and safety guidelines.
  • Ensure all food items are portioned and sauced accurately according to company specifications.
  • Coordinate cooking and plating operations to ensure timely, high-quality food presentation.
  • Keep the kitchen and workstations organized, sanitized, and operating efficiently at all times.
  • Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear during fryer maintenance and oil handling.
  • Support and collaborate with team members while following management and supervisor instructions.
  • Handle food items safely, maintain hygiene, and responsibly use cleaning and sanitizing products.
  • Address guest concerns courteously and escalate issues to management when necessary.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least one year of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably as a line cook or chef.
  • Background in restaurant operations or cashiering is considered an advantage.
  • Valid Food Handler Certification required.
  • Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
  • Proficiency in basic math and cash handling procedures.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.
  • Strong teamwork, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to excellence.
