Job Summary of General Store Manager:

This role responsible for the overall success of a Dairy Queen restaurant, including operations, profitability, team leadership, and customer satisfaction. This role ensures compliance with company standards, policies, and all applicable laws while driving sales growth, operational excellence, and an exceptional guest experience. The Manager leads by example, developing a high - performing team capable of delivering the Dairy Queen brand promise consistently.

Job Duties and Responsibilities of General Store Manager:

• Lead all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and labor cost control.
• Manage profit and loss (P&L), monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to maximize profitability.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop team members to build a skilled, motivated, and productive workforce.
• Ensure all operational standards, policies, and procedures are consistently followed, maintaining high levels of quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Monitor sales trends, develop action plans, and execute marketing initiatives to increase traffic and revenue.
• Oversee employee performance, conduct evaluations, and provide feedback to support individual growth and team success.
• Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements, including food safety and sanitation standards.
• Address customer concerns promptly, ensuring positive guest experiences and service recovery when needed.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, engagement, and employee retention.

Qualifications and Experience of General Store Manager:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a General Manager or in a leadership role within the food service industry.
• Proven experience managing P&L, inventory, labor, and scheduling.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background and motor vehicle checks.
• Food Handler's Permit and/or ServSafe Certification where applicable.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
