Job Summary of Assistant Manager:
This role oversees daily restaurant operations while supporting guest satisfaction, product quality, and team performance. The position focuses on leading staff, coordinating workflow, and maintaining standards to ensure a smooth and welcoming environment.
Job Duties and Responsibilities of Assistant Manager:
- Guide team members to deliver friendly and efficient guest service
- Support food preparation, product quality, and safety procedures
- Monitor store performance and help achieve operational goals
- Train and coach employees on standards and procedures
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and shift coverage needs
- Assist with inventory, ordering, and equipment maintenance
- Review sales results and help identify improvement opportunities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
Qualifications and Experience of Assistant Manager:
- Experience managing a team in food service, retail, or hospitality
- Understanding of profit and loss goals is helpful
- Comfortable working a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to coach, communicate clearly, and motivate others
- Knowledge of POS systems is helpful
