Shift Supervisor

We are seeking an enthusiastic restaurant leader to join our Wendy's team who possesses a high level of comfort in the kitchen and shows the ability to manage a shift with confidence.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Shift Supervisor, you will lead a team of approximately 3 people to perform closing activities in the restaurant which generally include closing down and cleaning kitchen equipment and following cash procedures. You will work with restaurant management to provide the direction and training required on every shift to exceed our customer's expectations. This position requires strong kitchen management skills and the ability to lead closing operations with confidence and professionalism. Key responsibilities include:

• Manage and supervise the closing shift operations from start to finish.
• Lead a team of approximately 3 people to perform closing activities efficiently.
• Close down and clean kitchen equipment according to established procedures.
• Follow cash procedures and ensure accurate cash handling during closing.
• Direct crew activities while on shift in order to maintain high standards of quality, service and cleanliness.
• Train, monitor and reinforce food safety procedures to crew members.
• Act as Cash Manager during closing, including verifying cash at close.
• Perform walk-throughs to ensure the restaurant is properly closed and secured.
• Work with Restaurant Management team to train, develop and communicate with crew members.
• Supervise, coordinate and delegate the execution of operations tasks and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
• Maintain and enforce standard operating procedures of the company during closing shift.
• Ensure all closing cleaning tasks are completed to standard.
• Secure the restaurant properly following all security protocols.
• Conduct product and supply inventory counting and recording as needed.
• Ensure that all the company's policies with regards to proper food handling and preparation are being enforced throughout the closing shift.
• Resolve customer complaints and handle any issues that arise during the closing shift.
• Maintain excellent customer satisfaction during evening hours.

Required Skills and Experience:

• At least 2-5 years restaurant leadership experience.
• High level of comfort in the kitchen and kitchen management.
• Ability to manage a shift with confidence.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Experience with closing procedures and cash handling.
• Ability to lead a team of 3 people effectively.
• Must be local to the area with reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work closing shifts consistently.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of food safety procedures and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a closing manager or supervisor in quick-service restaurants.
• Experience with high-volume restaurant operations.
• Strong PC skills are beneficial.
