Qualifications:

• Strong working knowledge of common restaurant concepts, best practices, and procedures.
• Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to maintain a high level of pace and intensity for extended periods.
• Excellent menu knowledge and the ability to accurately read, organize, and coordinate food tickets efficiently.
• Dependability and exceptional teamwork skills are essential to successfully perform all job duties.
• Related experience of 0-2 years is preferred, relying on good judgment and experience to accomplish goals.
• Must be able to frequently stand, walk for long periods, push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and use hands to handle tools and controls.

Responsibilities:

• Execute all meal preparations as a Grill Cook, strictly adhering to Bob Evans company recipes, plating standards, and carryout procedures.
• Ensure that all prepared meals are visibly appealing, cooked in a timely fashion, and delivered hot and fresh to the guest.
• Work with all approved cooking equipment and methods to prepare and cook meats, poultry, fish, vegetables, and other menu items according to the current recipe book and storyboards.
• Practice and consistently uphold the highest health, sanitation, and food handling standards.
• Maintain high standards of personal grooming; wash hands frequently, wear gloves to prevent bare hand contact, and promptly change soiled aprons.
• Understand and consistently comply with standard portion sizes, quality metrics, and all kitchen rules and policies.
• Prioritize and coordinate food preparation so that all items on a single check are completed and ready to serve simultaneously.
• Maintain and operate all kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, possessing a complete working knowledge of their proper use.
• Assist in other job roles or categories as assigned by management.
