General Manager

Role and Responsibilities:

As a General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations while leading your team to achieve business goals and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

• Manage all aspects of restaurant operations including food production, guest service, and staff performance
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain team members
• Oversee staffing levels, scheduling, and performance management
• Coach, train, and motivate crew and managers to achieve business goals
• Plan and manage inventory, budgets, and food ordering/costs
• Ensure compliance with McDonald's food safety and quality standards
• Maintain high standards for guest and employee safety
• Execute maintenance plans and operational strategies to meet and exceed performance goals

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• At least 1 year of experience leading, motivating, or developing others, or U.S. Military service
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to anticipate guest needs
• Effective communication skills with a focus on problem solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to excellence and safety in the workplace
• Passion for serving others, including both customers and team members

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality management
• Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple priorities
• Desire to grow within McDonald's through training and advancement opportunities
