Role and Responsibilities:

As a Pizza Maker, your tasks will include customer communication, product preparation, and aiding in the operational aspects of the store. It is vital to maintain efficiency and precision in order processing, while also ensuring a high level of safety and sanitation.

• Ensure the safe and effective operation of all store equipment.
• Move supplies brought in from delivery sections to designated storage areas, work stations, and coolers.
• Follow the prescribed protocols of the company in food preparation.
• Take and accurately manage orders received through telephone and face-to-face interactions.
• Carry out an inventory count and finish the necessary paperwork.
• Ensure that equipment and facilities are cleaned daily.
• Adhere to the orientation and on-the-job training guidelines provided.
• Grasp and offer precise written directions.
• Promote effective customer and team member communication to ensure seamless order processing operations.
• Carry out simple mathematical calculations, which involve providing accurate change in financial transactions.
• Accurately log customer orders using computer-based systems or touch screen devices.
• Ensure compliance with safety measures when working with hot objects, sharp utensils, or moving machinery.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work environment.

Required Expertise and Experience:

• The requirement is that individuals be at least 18 years old.
• Skilled in fostering clear and productive interactions with both customers and team members.
• Primary math skills and the capacity to provide correct change.
• The ability to coordinate motor skills is key to carrying out tasks effectively and precisely.
• The aptitude for aligning hand movements with visual guidance in tasks such as food preparation and equipment handling.
• Demonstrating the capacity to operate effectively in isolation or within a group when faced with pressure and meeting quality standards.

Physical Requirements:

• Tasks predominantly require being on one's feet, with occasional short walks over short periods.
• Handling and transporting hefty product deliveries up to 50 lbs using a hand truck.
• Moving objects like oversized cans, pizza sauce containers (with a weight limit of 30 pounds), and batches of pizza dough (approximately 12 pounds each).
• Exerting force within a range of 7.5 lbs to push and pull trays on dollies.
• Climbing stairs or ladders intermittently for maintenance purposes.
• Meeting job requirements through consistent stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching.
• Consistent engagement of hands in the process of food prep and the operation of tools like pizza paddles, knives, and packaging materials.

Work Conditions:

• Temperature exposure fluctuates between 36°F in coolers and exceeding 90°F in certain workspaces.
• Periodic outdoor activities like disposing of trash or performing miscellaneous jobs.
• Contact with scents from food, dust from cornmeal, high-temperature surfaces, pointed corners, and operational mechanical elements.
• Confined work settings, including walk-in chillers.
