Role and Responsibilities:

As a Hostess/Sanitarian at Wendy's, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming dining experience for our guests while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation. You will provide excellent customer service, ensure the dining room is clean and organized, and support various restaurant operations including drive-thru, cashier duties, and food preparation. Your attention to cleanliness and guest satisfaction will help make every visit memorable. Key responsibilities include:

• Provide excellent customer service for guests, greeting them with a warm welcome.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining room, restrooms, and lobby areas.
• Serve hot, fresh, fast food to customers with a friendly attitude.
• Support drive-thru operations by taking orders and processing payments.
• Perform cashier duties including operating the cash register and handling transactions accurately.
• Assist with food preparation including sandwich making, cooking, and french fries.
• Coordinate dining room operations to ensure a pleasant guest experience.
• Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, and dining areas between customer visits.
• Restock condiments, napkins, and supplies in the dining room and service areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and maintain a neat, organized environment.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness of restrooms throughout the shift.
• Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed.
• Assist grill and kitchen staff as needed during busy periods.
• Help coordinate the flow of customers and maintain efficient service.
• Report any maintenance or cleaning issues to management promptly.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Restaurant employees demonstrating strong customer service skills and a great attitude is appreciated.
• Must be at least 15 years of age.
• Possess all documents and permits required by state and federal law.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Friendly, welcoming personality with a positive attitude.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
