Role and Responsibilities

As a Food Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and cooking menu items to Wingstop's high standards while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient kitchen environment.

• Greet guests warmly and ensure every customer enjoys a positive dining experience.
• Accurately record all orders through the POS system, whether in person or over the phone.
• Stay knowledgeable about the full menu, sauces, limited-time offerings, and promotions.
• Prepare and cook bone-in wings, boneless wings, tenders, and fries following Wingstop's safety and quality protocols.
• Maintain proper portioning and saucing standards for each order to ensure consistency.
• Ensure food items are cooked to the correct temperature and served hot and fresh.
• Package and present food in a clean, visually appealing manner that reflects the Wingstop brand.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and workstations throughout your shift.
• Safely change and filter fryer oil as directed, following all safety procedures and using required protective equipment.
• Collaborate with team members and follow direction from supervisors to achieve daily production and service goals.
• Address guest feedback with professionalism and escalate to management when needed.
• Adhere to all food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least one year of experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably as a cook or line cook.
• Previous experience in restaurant operations or cashier responsibilities is a plus.
• Must possess a valid Food Handler Certification or be willing to obtain one.
• Understanding of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene best practices.
• Strong math and cash-handling skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Excellent multitasking, time management, and organizational skills.
• Dependable and team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Salary

Monthly salary ranges from 14,000 to 22,000, depending on experience, shift flexibility, and performance.
