Job Summary of Kitchen Assistant:

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Kitchen Assistant:

• Represent the Dairy Queen brand, maintaining professionalism in every aspect of your performance.
• Greet and welcome fans enthusiastically, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Exceed customer expectations by delivering prompt and high-quality service.
• Prepare food products quickly and accurately, adhering to restaurant, health, and safety standards.
• Operate and maintain restaurant equipment, including grills, fryers, freezers, and other cooking tools, safely and efficiently.
• Complete assigned preparation tasks for stocking and setting up the grill area.
• Address customer concerns calmly, following Dairy Queen's service recovery standards.
• Collaborate with fellow team members and management to maintain a positive, cooperative work environment.
• Ensure the restaurant environment remains clean, safe, and inviting for both fans and team members.
• Exhibit a genuine passion for excellence in all tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to support restaurant operations.

Qualifications and Experience of Kitchen Assistant:

• Ability to communicate positively with both customers and co-workers throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to handle raw, frozen, and cooked food products, ensuring compliance with temperature safety standards (41-140°F).
• Knowledge of and adherence to established food handling procedures and local health regulations.
• Exhibit good manners, personal hygiene, and punctuality at all times.
• Maintain a fun, positive attitude throughout the shift, contributing to a supportive team atmosphere.
