Shift Manager

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Shift Manager, you will aid the restaurant management team in various administrative and operational responsibilities to sustain seamless daily activities. You will uphold set benchmarks, mentor employees, and supervise the execution of restaurant operations throughout designated shifts.

• Encourage and uphold high standards in serving and pleasing customers.
• Uphold the company's expectations regarding the quality of products and the specifications of facilities.
• Assess food safety and handling procedures to ensure they meet standards.
• Analyze and optimize operational workflows to boost productivity.
• Support, mentor, and assess workers who are compensated on an hourly basis.
• Take charge of initiating and finalizing restaurant operations if management is not present, overseeing administrative duties to ensure smooth running of the establishment.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• High school diploma or GED; completion of two years of college coursework is advantageous.
• Completion of all internal training certifications.
• Two years of experience managing restaurant activities.
• Demonstrated expertise in interpreting P&L reports and ensuring business profitability.
• Efficiency in prioritization and organization of work to meet objectives and timelines.
• Good command of the English language.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and a dependable form of transportation.
• Willingness to travel when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some college coursework or a degree is desirable.
• Leadership skills with the ability to solve routine problems effectively.
• Practical experience in the quick-service restaurant sector.
• Successful completion of Burger King certification courses.
• Proficient communication skills with clarity in expressing and understanding information verbally.
