Role and Responsibilities:

As a Sandwich Artist, you are the face of the Subway brand. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that every guest enjoys a positive and satisfying dining experience. You will prepare food items, follow food safety and sanitation standards, and uphold the high service quality that Subway is known for.

• Greet customers warmly and ensure orders are prepared quickly and accurately with a friendly attitude.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu offerings and communicate them effectively to customers.
• Use the POS system or cash register to record orders, calculate totals, accept payments, and provide change.
• Accurately track daily cash, checks, and other forms of payment as part of standard operating procedures.
• Prepare food items following Subway's recipes and presentation standards.
• Monitor and restock sandwich unit inventory as needed during the shift.
• Follow approved food handling, safety, and sanitation practices at all times.
• Perform cleaning duties using the established three-step cleaning process to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Comply with all quality control measures and guidelines outlined in the Subway Operations Manual.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to Subway's grooming standards.
• Complete basic administrative tasks as assigned by management.
• Successfully complete required training through the University of Subway program.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
• No prior experience required; the ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions is essential.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend throughout the work shift.
• Capable of lifting 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
• Proficiency in using computerized POS systems or cash registers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to deliver excellent customer service.
