CDL A Driver

Role and Responsibilities:

As a CDL A Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering products to Domino’s Pizza store locations while maintaining safety and compliance standards. You will ensure accurate deliveries, proper handling of products, and completion of all required documentation.

• Safely drive assigned truck on designated routes to deliver products to Domino's Pizza stores, individually or as part of a team.
• Deliver product by sliding dough trays and other items from trailer floor to lift gate and ramp to dollies/carts.
• Verify dough, store cooler, and trailer temperatures at each stop and ensure accuracy of deliveries.
• Load product onto dollies and unload at each customer location; rotate stock in cooler as needed.
• Pick up damaged or empty tray containers/carts and deliver to the Supply Chain Center.
• Reposition and secure remaining products and tray containers/carts in the trailer after each delivery.
• Listen to and resolve customer service complaints in a timely manner.
• Wear and follow Domino’s Pizza uniform standards at all times while working.
• Attend scheduled safety, team meetings, and training sessions quarterly.
• Follow all local, state, federal, and company safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Verify and secure load prior to dispatch and ensure all required safety equipment is available.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections at every stop, including beginning and end of each trip.
• Maintain daily logs of driving activities and complete all required safety training.
• Comply with DOT log regulations via ELD and complete paperwork including DVIR, Trip Sheet, and Load Assessment Forms.
• Be accountable for the vehicle and products transported.

Required Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• At least six months of verifiable CMV driving experience; one year preferred.
• Proof of 25,000 verifiable miles of CMV driving experience preferred.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Air Brakes.
• DOT Medical Certification.
• Meet company MVR standards for commercial vehicle operation.
• Pass DOT physical examination.
• Pass background check every three years.
• Ability to work around yeast and flour.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods, climb stairs, lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally, perform heavy pushing/pulling, work in refrigerated conditions (33–38°F), outdoor weather conditions, and work in environments with exposure to loud machinery.
