Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a restaurant setting.
• Proficient in handling money, processing credit/gift card transactions, and providing accurate change.
• Strong grasp of essential restaurant practices and procedures.
• Excellent guest service abilities with a genuine desire to resolve issues promptly.
• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency with computer systems, particularly Point of Sale (POS) terminals.
• Reliable attendance and a dedication to working well within a team.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift/carry up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and reach as needed to perform all essential job functions.

Responsibilities:

• Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and guide them to their tables in a friendly manner.
• Manage the restaurant flow, accurately monitoring guest needs and seating people to maintain efficiency.
• Provide guests with the correct number of menus and children's packs when seating them.
• Handle all financial transactions, including cash, credit cards, and gift cards, ensuring accurate accounting for all receivables.
• Effectively manage guest wait times by collaborating with managers to provide accurate quotes.
• Field incoming phone calls professionally and address guest inquiries.
• Maintain the cleanliness and stock of the lobby, bakery, retail displays, restrooms, and general work area.
• Uphold safe food and beverage handling protocols at all times.
• Engage with guests, ask about their dining experience, and show care for their satisfaction.
• Skillfully manage guest complaints and know when to involve a manager for resolution.
• Assist with clearing, sanitizing, and resetting tables when necessary.
• Support marketing and promotional efforts by communicating new products, promotions, or key information to guests.
• Assist in other operational areas of the restaurant as required by management.
