Qualifications:

• 0-2 years of relevant experience, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
• Familiarity with standard restaurant concepts, practices, and procedures is a strong plus.
• Excellent organizational skills with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• High level of attention to detail to ensure perfect order packaging and inventory accuracy.
• Proven ability to identify and solve operational issues quickly and efficiently.
• Exceptional dependability and a demonstrated commitment to teamwork.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities:

• Warmly and professionally greet all carryout guests, ensuring a welcoming initial experience.
• Take carryout orders accurately, utilizing comprehensive menu knowledge and situational selling techniques.
• Ensure the prompt and precise packaging of all food, beverage, condiments, and other necessary items, strictly adhering to company standards.
• Process financial transactions accurately, handling cash, credit cards, coupons, and gift cards, and reconciling all receivables.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with guests to understand their needs and assist with menu selections.
• Use a headset to coordinate effectively with managers and kitchen staff to streamline the guest experience.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the carryout area, bakery, and retail displays, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Handle food preparation equipment (like beverage machines and salad cases) safely and adhere to all food and beverage handling guidelines.
• Answer phone calls promptly and courteously using the specified company script for each meal period.
• Accurately input carryout orders into the computer system.
• Address guest concerns and complaints effectively, involving a manager when necessary or appropriate.
• Assist the dining room team with various tasks, which may include expediting/delivering meals, greeting/seating guests, assisting with checkouts, pre-bussing tables, or preparing silverware.
