POSITION SUMMARY: Join our dynamic team as a Restaurant General Manager, where you will lead operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences in accordance with company standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:
Manage Restaurant Environment:
Deliver prompt and friendly service aligned with company guidelines.
Foster a culture centered around our Vision/Mission statement focusing on People, Profits, and Guest Experience.
Respond promptly to guest complaints received through verbal, email, or social media, ensuring swift resolutions.
Enhance guest experience through proactive measures, such as personal interactions.
Educate staff on alcohol awareness and maintain positive community relations.
Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequacy and compliance with standards.
Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and drinks to meet company quality standards.
Effectively schedule staff to match sales demands.
Implement safety and security protocols according to company policy and local regulations.
Uphold cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
Manage Community Marketing:
Engage actively within the community to boost sales and brand awareness.
Execute incentive contests and educate staff on promotions and new menu items.
Supervise Assistant Managers, Associate Managers, Team Leads, and Team Members, ensuring strong performance.
Handle Front of House and Back of House operations effectively.
Oversee all daily and weekly reporting for the restaurant.
Encourage teamwork and build effective teams dedicated to achieving organizational goals.
Conduct operations with professionalism, ethics, and integrity, serving as a role model.
Develop future leaders within the team.
Perform other related duties as required.
EQUIPMENT/COMPUTER SKILLS:
Proficiency with computers and technology.
Familiarity with Microsoft Suite and industry-specific software.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Responsible for overseeing Front of House and Back of House Associate Managers, Assistant Managers, Team Leads, and Team Members.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.
3-5 years of guest service experience.
3-5 years of management experience in a casual dining setting preferred.
Proven track record of sales growth and P&L management.
Ability to manage difficult guest interactions with a positive attitude.
Must be at least 21 years old.
ServSafe Alcohol and Food Certification is a plus.
Must have basic communication skills in English; bilingual skills are a plus.
Reliable transportation and valid government-issued driver's license required.
Willingness to work 50-55 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
Pass a company background check.
