Role and Responsibilities:
As a Cook at Wingstop, you will prepare, cook, and serve quality food while ensuring every guest receives top-notch service. You will work closely with your team to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. Your goal is to deliver the flavor and experience that make Wingstop stand out.
Provide a welcoming atmosphere and ensure every guest leaves with a lasting positive impression.
Accurately record and manage customer orders using the POS system for in-person and phone transactions.
Promote Wingstop's full menu, including dips, new products, and seasonal offerings.
Follow all food safety and cooking standards when preparing wings, tenders, and fries.
Maintain accurate portioning and sauce distribution in line with company standards.
Ensure proper timing for cooking wings and fries for optimal freshness and quality.
Package and present meals neatly and consistently.
Keep the kitchen and workstations clean and organized during operations.
Safely replace fryer oil daily and follow hygiene procedures for maintaining equipment.
Support team members and follow guidance from shift leaders and managers.
Handle guest concerns with professionalism and escalate issues when necessary.
Comply with all food safety, sanitation, and cleaning standards.
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum one year of experience in a kitchen or line cook role preferred.
Previous experience in a restaurant or cash-handling position is a plus.
Valid Food Handling certification required.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
Basic math skills and ability to manage cash transactions accurately.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
