Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our team as a Sandwich Specialist, crafting delicious sandwiches while providing excellent customer service. The Cashier (Sandwich Artist) represents the heart of the Subway brand engaging with customers, preparing food, following safety and quality standards, and performing essential administrative duties. Delivering outstanding service and maintaining a clean, organized workspace are central to this position.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Skills: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions with attention to detail.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Capable of frequently lifting up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 30 pounds. Must be able to operate a POS system or cash register efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver friendly, prompt service to customers, ensuring a positive and engaging experience.
• Accurately record transactions, operate the POS system, process payments, and handle change properly.
• Follow established Cash-In Procedures to document and verify all financial transactions for each shift.
• Prepare food items according to Subway standards, ensuring freshness, quality, and presentation consistency.
• Replenish ingredients and supplies at the sandwich preparation area to maintain smooth operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including dining and kitchen areas, adhering to hygiene and food safety standards.
• Comply with Subway's quality control, cleanliness, and operational protocols outlined in the Subway Operations Manual.
• Adhere to uniform and grooming standards as specified in company policy.
• Complete basic administrative and paperwork duties as assigned.
• Successfully complete all required training through the University of Subway platform.
