Role and Responsibilities:

As a Cashier at Wingstop, you will be responsible for providing top-tier customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all guests. Your focus will be on creating an enjoyable experience for every customer while ensuring operational efficiency.

• Provide a warm reception to guests in person or over the phone, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
• Process customer orders accurately using the POS system to ensure quick and efficient service.
• Stay knowledgeable about menu items, sauces, and promotions to offer personalized recommendations to customers.
• Handle transactions precisely, including cash, credit, and gift card payments.
• Verify order accuracy and presentation before customer pickup or delivery.
• Ensure orders are completed and delivered within the estimated timeframe.
• Balance the cash drawer at the end of shifts and prepare detailed reports of transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all customer-facing areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating to management as necessary.
• Represent Wingstop's brand by maintaining a professional and polished appearance at all times.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in food service or cash handling is beneficial.
• Valid Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain one).
• Experience operating computerized POS systems.
• Strong cash-handling and basic math skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, courteous, and consistent in performance.
• Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and accountability in all tasks.
